About Bin Day Brewing

A tiny brewery with a sense of humour and a loyal following. This page is a fan-made tribute to that brief but brilliant experiment.

Bin Day Brewing began as a lockdown homebrew adventure between Robbie Knox and Mike Millar. What started as an experiment quickly grew into a quirky small-batch brewery that was warmly received by fans.

As life opened up again following lockdown, and both Robbie and Mike became busier, it became harder to give the brewery the time and love it deserved. In the end, the difficult decision was made to put Bin Day Brewing on ice for the foreseeable future.

Even though the brewery has closed, its charm and the community spirit around it still mean a lot to people. This site is just a little thank-you note in website form.

Personally, I never actually got to try the beer — not for moral reasons, I just didn’t like beer yet. Now that I do, I’m gutted I’ll never get to crack open an official Bin Day brew.
